Our AspirationWith a history of environmental passion, love for nature and animals, Yuhsin Chang decided to leave her job as regional sales with an eco-shampoo and body care company to start her own company. Paired with Kyle Barker who has a long history in biology and ecology, they set off to merge their skill sets and motivations to form a new company, Formosa Environments. Formosa Environments, as the name may suggest, is focused on providing quality products from Taiwan with a strong focus on improving Taiwan’s environment. These steps can be easy at times and extremely difficult at times, but we move forward to try and get more and more of Taiwan’s' farmland to convert to a more sustainable, less toxic model. And this shift can be seen quite clearly in Taiwan! At the end of the day, we hope that agriculture & forestry can be based on efficiency, data, sustainability and safety. We will work hard to further improve every aspect. We all can work together to make the products tastier, prettier, safer and cleaner whilst reducing our impact on the environment that most literally supports us all. It is our driving force. |
