Agricultural Production Formosa Environments produces and sources from a wide range of productions styles. Everything from wild harvested to organic to hydroponic. We aim to provide the highest quality possibly grown in a more sustainable manner.

Organically Grown Organic certification is key to break into certain markets, especially those in Europe. Many of our farmer’s land is certified organic and we can show copies of their certification upon ordering. Non certified organic is also available with our guarantee that we do not use chemical sprays for any of our crops. Many options are available for our contract farming systems.

Formosa Environments' Farms We maintain our own farms in Southern Taiwan where we mostly run our R & D programs and breeding projects. We run field trials and grow them out before contracting out land for full production. Cultivation on our own land is a sustainable, no spray polyculture system. All the crops Formosa Environments grow are guaranteed *no spray* by us and are grown organically.

Sourcing From Other Farmers Some of our products come from other farmers whom employ a wide range of cultivation practices. We aim to support family farms who lean towards a more environmental, sustainable and if possible organic method of farming. We offer a wide range of growing method based on your specific needs.

Wild Harvested There are a few products we can supply that are harvested from the wild. Rest assured, we only harvest species that are not in danger of becoming endangered and take the upmost care in ensuring harvest techniques are carried out in the most sustainable manner possible. Generally products from the wild are fruit related and will not harm the plant they are being harvested from; such as, Mountain Pepper and Reishi Mushroom.
